Cutscene / Special Animations
Well first I have to say I have no PC atm and probobly won't for a while.
I have a program called 3DRipper that rips all models and anything 3D visible in the screen. I had the awesomly amazing idea, of a way to animate cutscenes or any special type of animation. I want to use 3DRipper on the completed maps, so that I have a Proper scaled MAP with all models that can be imported into 3DS Max. Then I will import the character to animate, then animate using the actual map as a reference. I think this would be amazing for any type of cutscene, where the character interacts with the map.

In Hammer, you can export as .DXF, then import into 3DS max. Makes it a lot easier.
![]() Also, 3DRipper sucks, scales everything out of proportion, and if you have fog and shit, it draws those polygons too. :P |
